Reflexology

reflexology i feel good massageReflexology is a natural, complementary therapy which works on the principle that the major organs, systems and anatomy of the body can be mapped on the feet. It involves application of pressure to the points of the feet (reflexes) in order to bring the state of deep relaxation, stimulate the body’s own healing power and restore a sense of well-being. By applying pressure and using massage to stimulate these reflex areas, the practitioner is able to detect subtle changes in specific points or zones on the feet and clear congestion. In so doing the flow of energy is restored, encouraging the body to heal from within. It can be used to treat specific conditions or as a way to maintain overall health.
